Water Guns Take on a Whole New Meaning

Practicing student rescue in a school context is sometimes necessary in cases like the Columbine shootings. Many SWAT and special operations teams practice using paintball weapons and water balls to save time and money. Taking paintballs into a school to demonstrate life-saving tactics would be a violation of school policy. On the other side, waterfalls dissipate quickly and are easier to clean up. Unlike paintballs, which come in gel-like containers, they are wrapped in plastic. The plastic containers may simply be swept away and disposed of in the trash or recycled. As a result, our officers' uniforms may be worn without fear of being ruined.
